Welcome to SalafiMatch! By using our mobile application and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully.

2.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SalafiMatch app, you signify your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.

2.2 Purpose of Service

SalafiMatch is an Islamic matrimonial platform specifically designed for and dedicated to single, divorced, or widowed Muslims who identify with and adhere to the Salafi / Ahlehadith methodology. Our aim is to facilitate the search for a righteous spouse in accordance with Islamic principles.

2.3 Eligibility

• You must be Muslim and adhere to the Salafi / Ahlehadith methodology. The app reserves the right to verify this and may terminate accounts that do not meet this criterion.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be of sound mind and capable of entering into a binding contract.
• You must be genuinely seeking marriage.

2.4 Account Creation and Profile Information

Registration: Account creation requires a valid email address, mobile number (verified via OTP), and a secure password.

Profile Completeness: After initial registration, you are required to complete a comprehensive profile including personal, professional, educational, biographical, detailed religious information, family background, and optional partner preferences.

Accuracy: All information provided in your profile must be accurate, truthful, and up-to-date. Misrepresentation may lead to account termination.

Profile Review and Approval: All new and significantly updated profiles are subject to manual admin review (typically 2-8 hours, can be expedited via WhatsApp request). We reserve the right to approve, reject, or request modifications.

2.5 Photo Submission Guidelines and Moderation

Sisters do not upload a photograph. They choose an illustration from a curated library, and the app will not accept a photograph from a sister’s account. Brothers may upload a photograph; it is optional, subject to administrator approval following Islamic guidelines for modesty, and stays hidden until the brother approves a specific member’s request to see it.

2.6 Wali (Guardian) Requirement for Female Profiles

Female users must provide accurate Wali (legal guardian) information, including WhatsApp contact for notifications regarding conversation initiations. Failure to do so may restrict account functionality.

2.7 Identity Verification

Optional government ID upload for a “Trust Badge”. Admin review applies.

2.8 Interactions and Communication

Interactions (interests, photo requests, messaging) must be respectful and adhere to Islamic etiquette. Free members may have messaging limits; Premium members have unlimited messaging. Contact details require an eligible Premium contact credit. For a female profile, her registered mobile number and email are never shared; only her Wali details may be returned.

2.9 Premium Features and Boosters

Premium Membership and Profile Boosters are paid features. Details are in our Pricing Policy and Cancellation/Refund Policy.

2.10 User Responsibilities

Maintain account confidentiality. Do not use the app for unlawful purposes. Report violations.

2.11 Content Rights

By posting content, you grant SalafiMatch a license to use it for operating and promoting the app.

2.12 Disclaimer of Warranty

Services are “as is”. We do not guarantee matches or the accuracy of user profiles. Users are responsible for their due diligence.

2.13 Limitation of Liability

SalafiMatch is not liable for damages arising from app use.

2.14 Termination of Account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations without notice or refund.

2.15 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.

2.16 Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
